Greetings from the road! The #AmericatheBountiful tour set off two days ago from Gloucester, Mass. where I live. In Washington, DC, last night, we had a wonderful welcome for me (so grateful for the kindness) to NFFC as I share the leadership of both groups now. We also got a heartfelt sendoff with friends from Rural Coalition, Food & Water Watch, ActionAid USA, Western Organization of Resource Councils, and The Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy. And we got the blessings of David Battey, husband of the late National Family Farm Coalition ED Kathy Ozer, and Kathy’s sister Elizabeth. Kathy’s hat is hanging in our RV, and we know she’s with us - she would’ve loved this trip.
